This LED tube requires you to either remove the ballast or bypass it. We have prepared a step-by-step guide to help you bypass the ballast to successfully install your LED tube.
Whether it's 2ft, 4ft or 8ft LED tube, one of the jaw-dropping features of LED tubes is that they don't flicker unlike what you would have definitely observed in case of fluorescent tubes. The LED tubes start instantly and once they start, they don't flicker and produce a humming sound.
The LED tubes that are either clear or frosted have an IP44 rating. Great quality bulbs. Only problem we had was an ac sticker was on the wrong end. Had to do a little surgery to figure that out. Buy your tombstones here. The ones on Amazon ****. You only have to replace them on ac end. The other end is just to hold the bulb in place.
Just rewired our old fluorescent kitchen fixture (recessed in ceiling with three fixtures,two bulbs each) for ballast bypass with single end power. It was a simple process, especially after viewing many U tube videos. The new LED tube lights are perfect for us. The 4000k with 2400 lumens was a great choice for our kitchen. We also rewired our utility/laundry room fluorescent light fixture. It's great having much better light in these rooms. Thanks.
