What's the difference between RTA and assembled Liberty Shaker Ashen cabinets?
RTA (ready-to-assemble) cabinets ship flat-packed and you assemble them. Assembled cabinets arrive built, for our per-cabinet assembly price, which your plan shows next to each cabinet. Accessories such as fillers, toe kicks and panels don't need assembly. Your plan shows the assembled total before you order.
How long does delivery take?
In-stock RTA orders ship in 2–4 business days and arrive in about 5 more, so about 7–9 business days in total. We ship UPS/FedEx within the US, and you can choose pickup in Louisville, KY. Assembled orders take longer; each option on this page shows its estimate.
How is shipping calculated?
Shipping is calculated at checkout from your address and order size. Local pickup in Louisville, KY is also available. Curbside delivery is standard; inside delivery isn't offered. See our shipping policy.
What is a 10x10 kitchen, and what's included in the price?
A 10x10 kitchen is an industry comparison layout: an L-shaped kitchen with two 10-foot walls. Our 10x10 price covers the cabinets listed in the starter only. Countertops, sink, hardware, appliances, fillers, toe kick and molding are not included. It's a comparison, not a quote for your room.
How do I choose a hinge side and read codes like B15 or W3030?
The letters give the type (B = base, W = wall, SB = sink base) and the numbers give the size in inches: B15 is a 15" wide base, and W3030 is a 30" wide, 30" tall wall cabinet. Single-door cabinets open left or right; pick the side the door should open from so it doesn't block traffic or appliances.
Can I order door samples?
Yes. A Liberty Shaker Ashen door sample is $30. Samples are 100% refundable, ship free, and are credited back on your cabinet order. Use the sample button on this page.
Do you offer installation in my area?
Enter your ZIP code in the Installation option to check availability around Louisville. Installation is $129.99 per cabinet box. If we don't install in your ZIP, you can still order RTA or assembled cabinets.
What are the cabinets made of?

Is financing available?
Yes. At checkout you can pay over time with Shop Pay Installments. On eligible orders you can choose 0% APR for 6 months, or longer plans of up to 24 months. Klarna is also offered. Financing is subject to approval, and the exact terms are shown at checkout.
Can a designer check my layout or show it in my room?
Yes. Use "Send to a designer" to email us your plan link, or try the visualizer on this page for a quick preview.
What warranty do the cabinets carry?
BuildMyPlace offers a 5-year limited residential warranty for the original purchaser. It covers defects in cabinet materials and workmanship. Normal wear, color variation and improper installation aren't covered. Questions? Call 502-325-0000 or email info@buildmyplace.com.
What if a cabinet arrives damaged?
Inspect your delivery and note any damage when it arrives, then contact us as soon as possible with photos so we can help.
Can I use my own installer?
Yes. You can order RTA or assembled cabinets and have them installed by the contractor of your choice.
What does installation include and exclude?
The Installation option lists what's included and what isn't. Work such as moving plumbing or electrical and countertop fabrication is usually separate; confirm the scope with us before you book.
Can I change the hinge side later?
On RTA cabinets the hinge side is set during assembly. On assembled cabinets it can't be changed after assembly, so choose carefully.
Do cabinet dimensions vary?
Cabinet dimensions can vary slightly from the listed size, typically within about 1/4". Measure your space and leave room for fillers.
Does "in stock" mean it ships today?
"In stock" means the item is available to order. Ship timing is shown separately and confirmed at checkout.
